Dear Mary, danny, Lindi(even guess) Freedie&shadow. since our first contact with Carl he was like a older brother, a hunting/fishing tutor and above all the great story teller,to which his stories are still told in hunting camps around the camp fire, they get better each year! Fishing on the ocean was not just a trip over to Depoe bay in the old red jeep & the boat that always brought us back to shore, with POP jarvis siging in spanish to wake up the salmon to get them to get on the hook. carl you are like the giant OAK with your limbs out stretched giving a safe haven to all. You are now gone from our presence but never from our memory. Jerry&Neena

Dear Mrs. Jarvis, I am so sorry to hear about your husband. I hope that you are well. I think of you often as you were my favorite teacher of all times! I hope that you can find some peace and have a wonderful holiday season. Love, Tracy Turnbow-Loutzenhiser

Dear Mary and family,
Carl was my best friend in Alma School in the middle 30s. We seemed to bond as best friends when the family first moved into the Mesa 4th Ward from El Paso. Not only that we had the same names but we just took to each other right off.
I have always cherished our friendship over these many years even tho the whole Jarvis family moved to Oregon.
The memories of our association have been and inspirtation to me all my life. Thanks, Carl.
