Farewell old friend! We lost contact over the years, but somehow never forgot the fun times we shared in the early 1960's at MCTC. Good friends never really die.....they live on in the memories of those whose lives they touched. RIP, Steve. Good men are hard to find.
We send condolences to your family.

Dear Sandie, We just learned of Steve's passing. Of course, he didn't give us a hint of his latest problems - such courage. He was a great man and a good friend. We will miss him sorely and only wish we could help you through this ordeal. With deepest sympathy, Love, Colleen and Darrius

Sandie,
Even though we have not seen you and Steve for several years, the two of you have always been special friends. Since the miles have kept us apart, we always looked forward to reading your Christmas cards, keeping us up with your many activities. It was certainly a shock to learn of the passing of my old high school/college buddy! Lots of memories! It is difficult to come up with words to express our deepest sympathy to you and your family, but rest assured, you will be in our prayers. It sure seems like the Lord granted you and Steve a very full and rewarding life together, and we pray now that He grants you full comfort as your life goes on. If you ever do get back to our area, please look us up.

Betty and I were shocked when we heard of Steve's passing. We were not aware that he had any new health issues.
We know that you and your family will miss him greatly.
There are many fond memories of being with Steve at the Club and at the beach
enjoying having him cook sausages in his special receipe.
I will miss seeing him at the club and always debating this and that with him.
Please call us when you have the time.
Love to you and the family.

Sandi:
I am so sorry to hear of the passing of Steve. What an inspiration he was to us. The way he lived his life with vigor and self assurance. In the end, it's not in our hands; but our Lord's. I know nothing I can say helps at this difficult time. Please know you are in my thoughts and my prayers. I am here for you.
With Heartfelt Sympathy,

It is with such sadness that we have lost Steve. You and Steve have been such good friends for so many years, and the fun we have enjoyed does temper the sadness. He had a very good life, he fought a good fight, and is now at peace. For that we are thankful. Your many friends at ACC share in your loss, and we all will be keeping you, Mike and Trish and their families in our hearts and in our prayers
