My Step-dad, Tom Brashears was the first and only Dad I ever knew or remember. He was fun, witty, and could always make you laugh. Even though he was my step-dad I knew he loved me. He had a hard life, and I am sad he had to live with so much pain and heartbreak. He loved to go fishing and camping, and I remember my first fishing trip was with him, I remember camping many times including trips to Yosemite, the Gand Canyon, and Jacobs Lake near Fredonia, AZ. He had a big heart, and I wish I could have seen him more in the past few years. I know he is enjoying his body again, as he can now do things he hasn't been able to do for 20 years. Missing him can be hard, but the special memories help remember the good things and good times. Remembering you always. -Love, Deb

Miss you Dad, wish that we could have gone fishing together more often, I know that your fishing now with David & Austie and hope you save some fish for me, when I get there. Love you and miss you Mike

Would you be the Brashears family that attended Grace Lutheran Church? If so...I am sorry to read about the loss of your Father. I was not aware of the extended family and I am sure you will gain strength from each other. If I have mistaken the family, I apologize and send healing thoughts your way.

Would you be the Brashears that attended Grace Lutheran Church in the 60's and 70's...? If so... I am sorry to hear of the loss of your dad. I did not know of the extensive family background and I am sure you will all gain strength from each other. If I have mistaken the family, I apologize and send healing thoughts your way.
