Today is the 12th year since Tom left us and I still miss him everyday. I have known Tom since 1983 when I started at the Mesa Plant, Motorola. He was my Supervisor and Manager in BP-II and in BMC. After moving to the Chandler Plant in 2001, I saw Tom and he would always talk about his 3 children and how much they meant to him. God bless Tom and his Family.

To the Doller family,
Tommy will be missed by a great many, family and friends. Before I actually met him in 1993 he helped my husband Charlie get on with Motorola, I will always remember the joy in his eyes one day as he rolled down the street pushing Richard in his carriage while just a couple months old. Tommy was always very gentle and kind. He will be missed, so sorry for your loss. We will keep you and the family forever in our prayers.

I knew Tom since 1980 when I first worked at Motorola. Tom was always there for me during my time at Motorola always guiding me in the right direction. We also had some great times together which I hold and cherish to this day. While we drifted apart after Motorola we always seemed to get together and have a few drinks and catch up. I will miss Tom dearly. Love Ya Bro!

Tom was my very first supervisor at Motorola at the Mesa plant in 1986 in the Probe area. He was a ham....does anyone remember the bet he & Jane Goodman made about which shift could get the most wafers probed in a day? Sorry you lost the bet Jane, but here was the secret.....Tom hid the fast probing wafers under the floor board for us on 3rd shift to probe,ha. Once when I had gotten a few O.E's he came to me for a talk about the errors and drew a coffin for me to get the point accross. Later when I was a trainer and he had gotten married and had his girls he would call me in to see his kids.....he was so proud.
God Bless You all

Nancy, Bianca, Ali and Richard. We are so sorry for your loss - it is heart breaking to imagine Tom not with all of you. He loved his family so much. He was always kind to Samantha when she spent time at your home. He was one of the few people that could call her by her nickname at a soccer game and make her smile. He will always be remembered for his great attitude and his laugh. You are in our thoughts and prayers. May God guide you through this difficult time and help you find comfort and peace. Dear Nancy, Bianca, Alex, Richard, Paula, Kenny, Bobby, Danny, Julie and Nancy,
Our condolences go out to the entire Doller family. I had the greatest privilege of being one of Tommy's friends for 37 years. From our early days at Phoenix Greyhound Park to golfing, Las Vegas, California, Hawaii and everywhere in between, the stories we had together are endless. The old saying, "They broke the mold when Tommy was born," is a true statement. My friend possessed a certain magic and aura that surrounded him, which enabled all of us to be very at ease in his presence. His laughter and jokes were always a cherished moment as well as his stories. We all admired, respected and loved Tommy for what he stood for in life. I never met anyone who worked harder than Tommy, from his Fedmart days to Motorola and Freescale. His work ethic was remarkable. Tommy was a proud family man who loved Nancy and the kids tremendously. He also was a great son, brother, uncle and friend. When we all went out to watch the soccer games, Tommy's enthusiasm was evident while running up and down the sidelines "barking orders". Even in golfing, my friend was as competitive as anyone and loved to make many bets while on the golf course. Tommy was the "Rock" to many people and we will miss him dearly. I will never forget you, Tom Doller, and I will miss you forever. Randy Davis (Suzanne, Taylor, Madison, Caitlyn and Jack).

Much love to you during this difficult time.

Dear Nancy, Bianca, Ali, Richard, Paula, Kenny, Bobby, Danny, Julie & Nancy,
I'm so sorry. Since hearing of Tom's passing, I've tried to find the right words to express my grief and condolences for your family, Tom's coworkers, and friends. After realizing there are no right words, I hope you find comfort knowing that Tom had an amazing spirit, who could make any experience a perfect memory. It was so clear how much he adored his family.
Though I only got the opportunity to meet him a handful of times, I consider myself lucky to be related to such a wonderful person.
Your family is in my constant thoughts.

we are all having a hard time dealing with the loss of Tom here at work. we know he loved his family and was so proud of them as much as he bragged about them but he was also caring in that he would also ask us about our families. He was very dedicated to his work and would fill in wherever needed. He was my manager at one time and supervisor at another. I also worked with Ken at tape and reel. I could tell by knowing them they must have been a fun family with alot of good times. The last time I seen Tom he would even empty the garbage cans as a cost savings. He was on so many teams and when you went to him with a problem you could count on him to get it resolved promptly. He was a great guy. We will miss him and pray for Jesus to give his family the strength to carry on and cherish there memories together.

There are no words that can express my appreciation for getting to know and hanging with TD. We laughed together in a lot of places, including, but not limited to, California, Arizona, Texas, Georgia, New York, Montana, Wyoming, and Colorado. We spent so many times together which always ended with a laugh and a plan to meet again. I have moved a lot over the years and Tom always found time to visit me at my new destination. There were a couple of those moves that included him helping me load up or even driving me to the destination. He used to take my Dad golfing when, due to health issues, he could no longer last even 9 holes--it didn't matter to Tom. We attended innumerable sporting events (incl'g his kids') where everyone in the stadium or on the field came to know him by the end of the game. When we went to the beach, he so thoroughly enjoyed it that by the time we left, everyone in the area had sand on them as a result of his energy and love of a good time. He loved and adored Nancy and the kids all along the way--always considering their needs before our plans. He was so proud of Bianca, Alex and Richard. He gave everything he had to his family, friends, work, school, church and everything and everyone that he touched. We are all blessed to have met Tom. We are all here to support and love Nancy and the kids. My heart is heavy now, but it will lighten up some day. Let's all stay together, keep in touch, and continue our journey to love and enjoy life again. That is what Tom would have wanted. Luv ya, Carl.

My heart goes out to all of you in this very hard time for all of you. I will always remember Tommy for his great smile, he always seemed so happy and he was definitly a proud Father and Husband- that was very evident. We had a few good times together at Julie and Alex's and family get togethers. I hope the memories you have of him will help you cope now and forever with your grief. It will be hard, but the love and support from your family and friends will get you through each day. Take one day at a time. If you ever need someone to talk to, I am here. Sincerely,

My deepest sympathy to the Doller family. I met Tom in BP1@ Motorola on 3rd shift back in the 1987. He was a supervisor and I worked in the EPI/DIFFUSION area. He has such a great smile and just an all around GREAT GUY. He was hard working and so dedicated to his job. I ran into him about 3 years ago at the Tempe Freescale facility and he was telling me how he had married and had a wonderful family. He was very proud of his family, and it showed. I haven't seen Tom for 22 years since he helped me pack a uhaul for my move to Oregon, but he looks just exactly the same as he did then--smiling and oh so handsome. About a month ago, Tom called me over to his computer and told me he wanted to show me something. He pulled up the ASU girls soccer web page, pointed and said, "this is my daughter". Dear Doller Family,
I was so saddened to hear this news. I worked with Tom and he of course was fun to work with. A can do man to be certain, but he mixed work with fun and kindness. Tom’s star shined brightly and he touched the lives of so many people and came as no surprise as I read these comments. I always admired Tom’s strengths, values and most of all his dedication to his family. He was an easy read in that regard, you just knew his family meant the world to him. He will be missed. My heart and prayers are with you during this most difficult time.

Deepest condolences to Tom's family from myself and my wife. I met Tom about 28 years ago in BP1 at Motorola. Although we never worked together in the same area, our paths crossed often. We even attended a Robert Plant concert together, many years ago. It was always a pleasure to talk with Tom and he always made you feel he was genuinely interested in what you had to say. In a roundabout way, he is responsible for me meeting, and ultimately marrying, my wife Virginia. Tom was one of the "good ones" and he will be missed.

Tom Doller would light up a room. There was a time, lunching in between a Hammers soccer game, where I thought he took us to a place where he knew everyone--but no, it's just he had the habit of engaging everyone he met. That is a remarkable quality.
All these posts testify to Tom's pride in his family and his delight in life's adventures. You can see his physical courageousness when Alex and Bianca take to the field. They are fearless like their Dad.
But Tom was so big-hearted, he took time to encourage and inspire his children's friends too. My daughter delighted in the zany rides home from soccer practice, the joking banter, and the motivational speeches urging the girls to lift weights and train harder.
The world is a drabber place today and my heart is breaking for all of us who knew Tom Doller.

What a loss! Tom’s smile, unforgettable laugh and the sinister way he clasped his hands together (when he knew he had the upper-hand), will be remembered forever. He had an awesome gift for comedy, as was evident in all the laughs we had during his road trips to San Diego. Regrets that we didn’t spend more time Tom in the last few years, but the time we did spend with him, was always a crack-up. On behalf of my family (Tracy, Holly & Kyle), our prayers and thoughts will always be with Tom, Nancy & the kids. This guy was great man & will be missed! Buck (a.k.a. Tom Picard)

Tom, It is shocking to hear that you are gone so soon - way too soon. I enjoyed the time that we worked together in Motorola - BP1 no matter the problem we tackled. It was always about the team and taking the next big hill while having fun. My heart goes out to those that you held dear - your wife and children for they have lost an incredible man. Our prayers are with you and your family.

Tom and I met in the early 90s while at the Mesa Motorola SPS. He was a hell of a guy with a great sense of humor. He will be missed. My condolences to the family.

After almost a week it is still unimaginable the loss you are feeling. Our family had the greatest pleasure of spending our soccer life with the Dollar family and Tom was the life of our team. His energy, enthusiasm and pure joy of watching his kids play their various sports was very evident. We pray for God to show you comfort and know that you do not walk alone in your grief.

Nancy, Bianca, Ali, Richard and entire Dollar family, Words can't express our sadness of Tom's passing. I remember the day my dad called me in Vegas saying, "You'll never believe who moved in next door!" You know what a great family is if you know the Dollar family. Tom has left his legacy in his wonderful wife and children. His family stepped in without hesitation when my dad died and have been there for my mom for the three years since. Thank you Richard for the "Blue dumpster duty", and Nancy, Bianca, and Ali for the wonderful giving people you are. Tom will be missed for his smile, his ability to care for people in the truest sense, but still lives on in his family. We pray God will give you strength and our family will be here for you in whatever you need.

To Nancy, Ali, Bianca and Richard - we're so very sorry for your loss and share in your grief. But we will try to be happy that Tom's in a better place and celebrate his life. We'll miss his well-placed sideline cheers that spurred the girls on to higher levels. We'll remember the impromptu get-togethers in the Doller room on road trips. Our hearts are broken. We're here for you. We will keep you in our thoughts and prayers. God Bless you all.

Going to miss Tom, knew him for about 11 years. Man he was a hard working guy, epitimozed the blue collar hard working family man. Could be trusted too. Not too many of those in leadership positions but he did it for many years and set such a great example for others to follow, including myself. Going to miss him stopping by my desk 1-2 times a week, telling me how proud he was of his kids, telling me about the latest family adventure, or about working out, or laughing together about a story he remembered about his brothers. Love you Tom, and my heart and prayers go to your family. Wish we had more time...
Your friend,

My sincere sympathy to Tom's wife Nancy and children, in losing him at such a very early age. I first met Tom when he was entering his management career in wafer processing at (M). I valued his intellegence, energy, and friendly manner when dealing with me personally.
He always gave his all to his responsibilities, those he managed and to our corporation. He and I shared some interesting situations in the work place, and I left each encouter with him with the highest degree of respect for his integrity and willingness to discuss and come to a mutual understanding and plan for future action.
I know Tom is now with our Lord and able to watch over his family in a much different but powerful manner. May God bless all in the Dollar family, during these most difficult times.
Sincerely, Tim Niesz

With great regrets to the Dollar family, our prayers are with you. Tom and I shared many memorable moments at Motorola. He was my mentor and friend. I was fortunate enough to see Tom one last time during a 2008 MdN football game. Tom was so very proud of his children's accomplishments and did not fail to mention his love for Nancy. You will be missed by so many people who cherished your stories and responded to your recognizable laugh.

Nancy, Bianca, Ali and Richard - I was saddened to hear of Tom's passing. I have known Tom for over 15 years as a co-worker, manager and a friend. He loved talking about his family: Events that happened at the soccer matches, what colleges were sending out letters, baseball games, football camps and Nancy’s new job. He was so proud of his family and his obvious love for you all was so evident with every word spoken. We at Freescale will miss his enthusiasm, his caring of others, his leadership and the boyish grin with every joke.
Please accept my heartfelt condolences at this difficult time. We will all miss him.
With sincere sympathy,
Diane Duffey

My most heartfelt sympathy for the Doller family, Ms. Doller, Kenny, Bobby, Danny and Julie and Nancy. And to Tom's wife and children, who I did not know but have heard through mutual friends, were Tom's pride and joy. My prayers are with all of you. The childhood memories our families shared bring a smile, along with tears for your loss. God Bless.
