Thomas Frye Obituary

Frye, Thomas Milton
Thomas Milton Frye passed away peacefully at his home in Phoenix, Arizona on Thanksgiving Day, Thursday, November 24, 2016. Thomas was born September 6, 1952 in Brooklyn, New York to the late Mr. Thomas C. and Mrs. Annie Frye. Thomas is preceded in death by his sons loving mother Karen Mulzac-Frye and leaves behind his immediate family members: mother, Annie Frye; sons, Channing and Logan; Daughter in-law Lauren; Brother, Leonard; Sister-in-law Pat Frye, nephews Aaron and Marcus; grandchildren Hendrix, Margaux and Roxie, God-children Hayley and Hayden, many relatives, dear friends and associates. Thomas (Tom), a Christian man, and CEO of "I" Athlete, had a natural ability to bring out the best in others. Tom's company was an advocate for the Encouragement of Excellence in academics and athletics. Tom was near completion of his book "I" Athlete, has worked as a consultant to Fortune 500 companies, small businesses, non-profit organizations and start up enterprises. Tom's software development and entrepreneur background has allowed him to serve as the Senior Vice-President for Business Development & Planning in Charter School Financing, Operations Manager for Systems Integration at Digital Equipment Corporation, Assistant Vice-President International Foundations for Education & Self Help and as a Instructor at the University of Phoenix. A life long learner, Tom earned a Bachelors Degree in Elementary Education from Livingston College, M.A. and M.Ed. in International Educational Development and has completed coursework towards a Doctorate of Education, all at Columbia University. Tom's hobbies included golf, fly-fishing and spending quality time with his family and friends. He was most committed to helping others develop their True Self. Tom never forgot where he came from and often said, the climb is tough, but the view from the top is worth it. A sign of a man that always wanted others to develop their True Self.
