Tracy Edwards Obituary

Edwards, Tracy Sue
Tracy Sue Edwards, age 44, will forever be remembered as an angel taking time off from heaven to raise her family. She was born on 10/3/1966 in Torrance, California and passed away in Phoenix, Arizona on 8/27/2011. She was often referred to as the worlds greatest nurse. She graduated from Grand Canyon University with a Bachelors degree in Nursing, and was a former employee of John C. Lincoln Hospital North Mountain. Her gentle essence and positive energy pushed people to appreciate the small things in life. She brought out only the good in her family and friends, often encouraged them to reach for their dreams no matter how difficult the journey might be. She was such an inspiration to her kids, which they are proud to say she is their mother. She will be greatly missed by everyone that has ever had the honor to cross her path. She is survived by her children's father and friend Bo, son Joey and daughter Cassie Edwards, mother Ruth Roehl, stepfather Jerry Roehl, father Jerry Lucas, brother Joe Lucas and sister Terri Fatali, nieces and nephews Chanelle, Nikki, Brandi and Cole, grandma Viola Yeamans and pets Carol the cat and Muffin. She would have wanted us to celebrate her life and for you to treasure your own. Memorial Service will be Saturday, Sept. 3rd at 3pm at Heritage Funeral Chapel, 6830 West Thunderbird Road, Peoria, AZ 85381.

Cassie & Joey,
I'm so sorry for the loss of your mom. I worked with her in Trauma Services years ago and I will always remember her positive energy, big smile, and continuous encouragement with nursing while I was in school for it. She talked about both of you during those years proudly. May you find comfort in memories of times shared with her.

Mom im going to miss you so much. You taught me so well and there is no doubt in my mind that I will be a success. Don't be afraid to pop in every now and then to say hey. You must be pretty popular in heaven having been a nurse for so many years, enjoy it, you deserve it. Love always you son Joey.
