Bang, Victor Sr.
Victor Bang Sr, 88, passed away peacefully August 17, 2012. He is preceded in death by his wife, Virginia, and son Vaughn. He is survived by children, Rosa (Peter) Hale, Victor Jr. (Carmen) and Daniel (Helen), 15 grandchildren, and 32 great grandchildren. He is the son of Christian and Rosa Keiffer Bang. Vic lived the first half of his life in Cincinnati, then moved to Mesa in 1970. He was a faithful member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints, serving in many leadership positions. As a young man he served a mission in the central states and later served five missions with Virginia including, Germany, Philippines, Philadelphia, Family History Center, and Mesa Arizona Temple. He cherished his family and was a dedicated husband, father, grandfather and great grandfather. He devoted his life to serving the Lord, and serving others. He was a skilled carpenter who loved his work and his tools. A family graveside service will be held Saturday August 26, 2012 at 10:00am at the Mesa Cemetery. In lieu of flowers donations can be made to the LDS Temple Fund. Funeral arrangements entrusted to Meldrum Mortuary.
