Wayne Gendreau Obituary
of Glendale, Arizona, passed away peacefully at his home, March 9, 2009 at the age of 53. Wayne was born in Langdon, North Dakota, August 31, 1955, and then moved to the valley in 1979. Wayne founded Waymar Plumbing in 1988, and was a successful plumbing contractor in Arizona since then. Wayne is survived by his loving wife, Marleen Gendreau; sons, Wayne Gendreau, Jr., and Michael Gendreau; parents, Stanley and Evelyn Gendreau; brothers, Cal Gendreau, Dennis Gendreau, Tim Gendreau and sister, Connie Easley. Visitation will be held from 5-8PM, Thursday, March 12, 2009, Hansen Desert Hills Chapel, 6500 E. Bell Rd., Scottsdale. Mass will be held at 10AM, Friday, March 13, 2009, St. Thomas More Catholic Church, 6180 W. Utopia Rd., Glendale, AZ.

I Was very sad to hear about Waynes passing. Though we lost touch in the late seventies when he moved to Arizona and I went to Saudi Arabia for a couple of years I've thought about our friendship many times over the years. I regret not having tracked him down during the times I visited my sister in Scottsdale or was in town with my Daughters for Soccer tournaments. Wayne was one of the good guys who befriended one of the new kids in town when I moved to Langdon for my Senior year of High school. I particularly remember the summer after we graduated driving around Langdon in the Willys jeep he was working on getting into shape. My condolences to all. I'll remember good times when I think of Wayne!
