I was just looking for people I used to work with in Phoenix and came across Wendell's obituary. I worked for Judge Goodfarb when Wendell was the bailiff. He was very funny and always had interesting stories to tell us about his days as a page in Congress. When we were on a Domestic Relations calendar (divorces, custody, etc.) he always helped people fill out their court papers. One of them called him "Mr. Wendell," and Wendell said, "Mr. Wendell? I'm not a hairdresser." So sorry he left at such a young age.
