William Chaplin Obituary
and friend passed away peacefully in his Scottsdale home on January 3, 2008. Willie was born August 30, 1918 in Mattoon, IL. Willie is a decorated World War II Veteran serving in the 45th Infantry
Division. He was employed at Motorola 52nd St. for 19 years. He is survived by his loving wife
Rose of 38 years, sons Steve and Matt Matherly, daughter Lana Arbogast, 6 grandchildren, 6 great-grandchildren, and many friends. Willie loved the outdoors, enjoyed fishing, playing cards, telling stories, reading, and being with family. He is known by family and friends as the "fix it all man" always able to fix anything. Willie will be greatly missed by his friends and family. Contributions in his name may be made to Hospice of the Valley 1501 E. Flower St. Phoenix, AZ 85014
