I only knew Bill for a very brief period of time, yet I seemed to see him often. He had a very significant impact on the life of myself and fiancee. I've pondered over and shared his advice to a young 'married couple to be' very often. "It's essential to invest yourself and become a PART OF each other's conventions, practices, beliefs, aspirations, goals and dreams. That way you two will grow together, not just along side each other or apart". I had asked that question and got a straight answer - typical Bill from what I understand, my type of guy. We will ALL miss his visits to us, along with those of his lovely wife and family. EVERY time we saw you folks it was a vast improvement of our day. Our sincerest condolences on losing Mr Short, Cece & myself will certainly not forget him.

The Good Book says that precious in the sight of the LORD is the death of his saints. I am sorry for your grief now. I remember many great and trying times at the Short house in B Town and your Dad was just that "DAD". I liked him very much and I'll never know how our parents made it through our teen-degenerative years. Prayers offered up on you and yours. Jerry P.S. Miss U

Barbara and family, Mom (Myra) and I were saddened to hear of Bill's death. Bill meant so much to my Mother he was like a brother to her. I remember our visits when I was young and you lived in Ohio. Our prayers are with you all.

Dear Marian and Dan,
Unfortunately death will come to us all. I would have to say that Bill, the man, the husband and the father lived a wonderful life. He died with class. I could only hope the same for myself. We are truly sorry that he is gone, but his life should be celebrated and we should not be sad.
Love, Bill and Dianne
