Yolanda Pulido Obituary
Age, 68, of Mesa, AZ passed away on February 12, 2012. She was born to Frank and Mary Louise Quiroz on April 2, 1943 in Sonora, AZ. Yolanda was a beloved wife, mother, grandmother, daughter, and sister. She married Rudy Pulido on December 1, 1963. Yolanda and Rudy started their family and moved around the small mining town ending up in Kearny where they raised their 4 children. Yolanda devoted her life to her husband, children, grandchildren, and her parents. She loved to cook and made many wedding cakes for family and friends. Anyone who came across Yolanda just loved her. When moving from Kearny to Mesa Yolanda worked at M & M Food Market then moved to Food City. She was a cherished wife and best friend to Rudy, the greatest mother to Gina (Ruben) Serna, Rudy (Tiffany) Pulido, Yvonne (Charlie) Dominquez, and Yvette (Alex) Fernandez. She was an adored grandmother (Nana) to; Matthew, Jordan, Nelssen, Timmy Serna, Alex Jr., Alyssa Fernandez, Gabby, Tino, and Nico Pulido. Yolanda is survived by her mother Mary Louise Quiroz, brothers; Frankie (Cata) Quiroz, Bobby (Gloria) Quiroz, Tommy (Kathy) Quiroz, and sister Anna Maria Quiroz. She will join her father and beloved Sancho (Shih Tzu dog). Arrangements are entrusted to Melcher Chapel of the Roses, 43 S. Stapley Drive Mesa, Arizona 85204 (480) 964-4537. Please pay tribute to Yolanda by visiting the family's website at www.melcherchapelofroses.com. A rosary service and visitation will be held on Thursday from 5:30-8:30pm at Christ the King Church, 1551 East Dana Avenue, Mesa, AZ 85204. Funeral Mass will be Friday at 10:00am at Christ the King Church. Interment will follow at Mountain View Cemetery in Hayden, Arizona at 2:00pm.

Dear Quiroz family, my sincere sympathies in your loss of Yolanda. The Jiggs and Alice Mercado's have been gone from Sonora for many, many years, but we have never forgotton all our dear friends. Yolanda and Frankie were my classmates until we left in l959, and I am so sorry that my dear friend has passed. Please accept a sincere warm hug and know that you all will be remembered in my prayers and may God bless and keep you during this difficult time.

Tia Y was an amazing, loving and strong woman she will be deeply missed by us. She rasied some really great kids and really loved her grandkids. Hi Nana,
I hope you're pain free now and living the life in Paradise. I hope Tata Q. and Sancho were there to greet you right when you got to Heaven. Thank you for the beautiful day yesterday and the rain. It reassured us that you got to heaven okay. :) I hope that you take care of Tata and watch over all of us each and everyday until we meet again. I know you're so proud of your kids and us grandkids. We we're and still are so proud of you. God needed a "nana" in heaven to take care of the other little ones and to be with your loved ones up there. He chose a very special one of them all. I'm going to try to be strong for the family and Tata, he misses you so much already, but knows that you are no longer and pain, and that's what keeps him positive about this situation.
I love you so much nana and WIIL NEVER forget you and the wonderful times I had with you.
