Brian York Obituary

On June 13, 2025, we said goodbye to our son, brother, uncle, nephew, and friend, Brian York. Brian was born on July 30, 1973, in Mesa, Arizona. He grew up in Chandler and moved to Flagstaff in 1991, where he spent most of his adult life. Brian made friends easily-whether riding his motorcycle at the sand dunes, boating on Lake Powell, or through his many year of work at Big D, where he dedicated 28 years.
Brian's kindness, humor, and ability to connect with others left a lasting impression on everyone he met. He will be deeply missed by many.
He is survived by his mother, Marilyn York; sister, Kelly York; brother-in-law, Bruce Wright; niece, Eliza Wright; aunt, Reba Turner; and his beloved Yorkie pup, Henry.
