Albert Galvez
March 9th, 1965 - September 30th, 2017
Albert Galvez passed away after a brief illness with his loving family by his side on September 30th, 2017. A devoted husband, father, son, brother, and grandfather, Albert was born to Amador and Librada Galvez on March 9th, 1965, in Bakersfield, CA. Albert graduated from South High School in 1983, where shortly after, he met his future wife, Anne Consani. They were married in 1989 and lovingly raised three children: Michael, Matthew, and Madison.
He was a good man that was known for his strong work ethic, one of a kind sense of humor, love for his pets, and old-school music. He often expressed how proud he was of each of his children and their many accomplishments.
Albert worked nearly 30 years in Route Sales and prided himself with his dedication to his loyal customers, who he considered friends. He loved family beach trips, especially those with his granddaughter Brooklyn. Brooklyn brought a new perspective to his life and was undoubtedly the light of his life.
He is survived by his wife, Anne, parents Amador and Librada, his three children; brothers Amador Jr. (Jeanette), Freddie (Rosie), and Francisco (Maria), his in-laws Gus Consani and Judy Consani, sisters-in-law Debbie Petrini (Mike) and Katie Barter (Bob), Goddaughters Serina Galvez Molina and Melissa Frost as well as many nieces and nephews.
Services will be held at St. Francis of Assisi Catholic Church on Monday, October 9, 2017 with Rosary at 8:30 a.m., followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 9:00 a.m., celebrated by Monsignor Craig Harrison. Interment to follow at Hillcrest Memorial Park.
The family would like to express their utmost gratitude to Dr. Ravi Patel and his staff at CBCC for their outstanding care and compassion.

I was stunned to hear of Albert's passing. Without a doubt one of the nicest guys I have ever known. Ill always remember Albert as always happy and with his big smile. He always made me feel welcome. He was a hard worker and loved his family I am certain. I am saddened. He gave me a baseball bat that I used all the time in my youth, and it was great, almost magical, probably because it was given from Albert. May he rest in peace now, and the good lord watch over him and his family. Still can't fathom this loss. God Bless you Albert.
The Lord is my shepherd; I shall not want.
He maketh me to lie down in green pastures: he leadeth me beside the still waters.
He restoreth my soul: he leadeth me in the paths of righteousness for his name's sake.
Yea, though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death, I will fear no evil: for thou art with me; thy rod and thy staff they comfort me.
Thou preparest a table before me in the presence of mine enemies: thou anointest my head with oil; my cup runneth over.
Surely goodness and mercy shall follow me all the days of my life: and I will dwell in the house of the Lord for ever.

Condolences to the family. I met Albert when he was a vendor at my store. Very nice, hard working man. It was always a pleasure to see him. Sorry for your loss.
