Beloved Pastor, husband and father, David M. Snow went home to be with his Lord and Savior on October 28, 2022. He was born in Altadena, California on April 21, 1938, to Jerome and Audrey Snow, the second of three children.
David attended Fresno High School and afterward joined the military for four years with an honorable discharge. He married his sweetheart, Linda R. Snow on May 16, 1959, in Fresno, California. He worked in banking and became an Assistant Vice President of a local American National Bank.
In 1975, he answered the call to become a pastor and earned a Bachelor of Arts in Contemporary Christian Ministry while serving as Associate Pastor at Chester Ave. Baptist Church. In 1980, he pastored the First Baptist Church of Lake Isabella where he and Linda ministered for 20 years. He retired from full-time ministry in 2000, and moved to Magalia, California where they ministered for the next 20 years.
A well-loved pastor and friend, David will be remembered for his powerful preaching of the Gospel of Jesus Christ leading many to salvation, his unwavering stance on the truth, his gifts for teaching, counseling and music, his evangelical heart for the lost, and his wonderful sense of humor.
David is survived by his wife of 63 years, his four children, Christopher (Sandy), Todd (Dinora), Jerilyn, and Stephanie Snow, his two sisters, Sylvia Burrows (Ian) and Kitty Smith (Richard). He is also survived by His grandchildren, Patrick (Jennifer) and Kyle (Katie) Snow, Teddy (Julia) Costello, and Anna Marie (Michael) Petermann, and his greatgrandchildren, Ethan Snow, Tyson, Gabriel, and Isaiah Todd Costello. He is also survived by nieces, nephews and several cousins.
Visitation will be held on November 11, 2022, at Lake Isabella Valley Mortuary, 5108 Lake Isabella Blvd. in Lake Isabella, California.
A memorial will be held November 12, 2022, at First Baptist Church of Lake Isabella, 3701 Suhre Street at 11am.
