Dolly Redfeairn Obituary

Dolly Marie Redfeairn was born October 2, 1926, to Claude and Maude McNeeley in Marston, Missouri. She passed peacefully with her children by her side on January 26, 2017.
Dolly lived life to the fullest. She loved shopping, shopping, and shopping. She was named Dolly because, upon her delivery, the doctor commented that she looked like a doll. Church attendance was a priority to her as well as how you dressed to go. She loved singing in the choir and playing the piano and organ for church services. The family moved from town to town all over the western United States as Don was a drilling contractor. Dolly most often found a church to attend before she found a home to rent. She was a charter member of Valley Baptist Church.
She was preceded in death by her husband of 46 years Don Redfeairn, Jr., son Danny, parents Claude and Maude McNeely, sister Inez Baldwin, and brother Nathaniel McNeely. She is survived by her children Ida (Ira) Lynch, John (Kathy) Redfeairn, and Rick Redfeairn. Her grandchildren called her Grandmother at her insistence as grandma sounded too old to her. They are Josh (Jennifer) Lynch, Jake (Amanda) Lynch, Mike (Candra) Redfeairn, Chrissy (Rex) Calderwood, Beth (David) Campbell, Katie (Joe) Gregory, Ricky Redfeairn, Brian (Keri) Redfeairn, Chad Redfeairn, Brad (fiance Mandi) Redfeairn. She dearly loved all 16 of her great-grandchildren.
Dolly would tell family as she walked them to the door,
"Now you go straight home, you hear?"
We can be sure she, too, has gone straight home to heaven.
Memorial services will be Thursday, February 2, 2017, at Greenlawn Mortuary River Blvd. at 10:00 am.

Very very sad what a sweet person. I only saw her once or twice when I was in high school with her son John she loved to sing and play her organ or piano. Great voice. Just remember she's still watching over you. Sorry for your loss
