Eva Quinones Ramos December 8, 1939 - October 1, 2010 Eva Quinones Ramos was born in Penuelas, Puerto Rico on December 8, 1939. Mami came to California in the 1950's and had been a resident of Lamont and Bakersfield for over 40 years. She is preceded in death by her husband, Jorge Quinones. Eva married Jorge and had five children. She was a devoted mother to Zoriada Quinones and husband Roberto, Connie Cordova and husband Geraldo, William Quinones, Jose Quinones, and Jorge Quinones Jr. She was a cherished grandmother to Jennifer Santana, Elizabeth Santana and husband Joseph Garcia, Reynaldo Santana and wife Maggie, Daniel Quinones and wife Crystal Arroyo, and William Quinones Jr. She was a great-grandmother to Ramiro Romero, Yazmin Santos, Jorgie Santana, Mia Santana, D'Angelo Quinones. She was also loved by numerous other family members and friends. Eva gave herself to the Lord and loved Him with all her heart. She was kind, loving, and always light-hearted with a great sense of humor. She was loved by many and always had a kind word to say. Special thanks to the staff at Bakersfield Heart Hospital, Darci Page and Lacy Scritchfield. Thank you to all the staff at Hoffmann Hospice for their wonderful care and the staff at Evergreen Nursing Facility for their hard work and care and a special thank you to David and Rachel De La Rosa for all their love and support. Eva will be greatly missed by all who knew her, especially her family. Mami, In God's care you rest above, and in our hearts you will always be. We love you Mami.
