Jason West Obituary

Jason was the only son of James and Teresa West. He meant the world to them. They were very proud of him. He accomplished so much in his life. He was in the Navy for 12 years. He wasn't just in the Navy but in the Nuclear Navy. He learned an excellent trade which landed him an excellent job when he left the service. While in the military he received a dual degree in Nuclear engineering and Nuclear Science from Rensalear College. He did all this while raising a family. He had three wonderful boys who he was an excellent father to.
Jason is survived by his parents James and Teresa West of Shafter; his sister Michelle of Oklahoma; sister Wanda of Bakersfield; sister Shanda of Bakersfield; his three handsome sons Shawn West of Kentucky; Aiden and Owen West of Florida; and many other family members who loved him dearly.
He is preceded in death by his little sister Rachel West; his grandfather Lenord Maynard; his paternal grandparents Floyd and Rachel West; and his aunts Marcia Sellers and Sue Pressley.
He will be missed by everyone who loved him.
Services will be held at Home Fellowship Church, 520 California Ave. In Shafter., Thursday February 20th at 11:00 a.m. Pastors Jose Belizario and Beverly Perello.
