Jeffrey Haddad Obituary

Jeffrey Elias Haddad
1967 - 2017

A loving husband, father, son, brother, uncle and friend. The man who could bring smiles and laughter into the room no matter the situation. Jeff left this world too soon, passing away on the 17th of November 2017 at 50 years young. He was a hardworking man that helped expand and build the business we so fortunately have today. A man that would do anything and everything he could for his family and friends. Jeff always saw the best in people and the potential they had. He would push others in the right direction to accomplish their dreams.

Jeffrey Elias Haddad was born to Elias "Chuck" Haddad and Inger Haddad in Los Angeles, California on April 20th 1967. He grew up in Huntington Beach California before moving to Bakersfield at the age of 10 years old. He attended Foothill High School, where he was introduced to football, a sport he soon loved and pursued. After graduating from Foothill High School in 1985, he continued his education at Bakersfield College. While at Bakersfield College he continued to play football and broke the school squat and benching records. Jeff then earned a scholarship to play football at Northern Arizona University. After college, he moved back to Bakersfield and began working with his father and two brothers at their Dodge dealership in Porterville, California. For the past sixteen years, Jeff has been the Dealer Operator of the Nissan of Bakersfield dealership.

Jeff, know we love you so very much and will miss you dearly, as you have touched so many lives. We will continue to become the people you always wanted us to be and will continue to make you proud. Jeff is preceded in death by his mother Inger, survived by his wife of twenty-three years Tina, sons Jacob and Joshua, daughter Maci, father Elias, brother James and wife Lisa, brother John and Meredith, his nephews Michael and Ryan, his niece Allie and her husband Ryan Weatherford, in-laws Dave and Dottie Morrison, Ben and Jeri Stephens, numerous other family and friends and his five beloved dogs: Kiwi, Dash, Annie, Roxy, and Chi-Chi.

Celebration of life will be held Saturday November 25th 2017, 10 a.m., at Valley Bible Fellowship, 2300 E Brundage Ln, Bakersfield, CA 93307 In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations to: The Mission at Kern County, P.O. Box 2222 Bakersfield, Ca. 93303.

I just found out about Jeff's passing. May he lay forever protected in our Heavenly Father's arms in His kingdom of glory! I have so many fond memories of Jeff, and his two other brothers, John and James. He had so much fun growing up together in Huntington Beach, CA. Rock fights, TV Tag, Three flies up, riding our bicycles - you name it, we played outside all day long til the street lamps turned on. Jeff was the youngest of all of us, but one of the BEST!! I loved the Lebanese Bologna his Mother Ingrid used to give to me! Cannot find it in the store anymore - darn! The Haddad's were a wonderful family and were missed when they moved to begin their Car business in Bakersfield. I am so sorry for his family's loss, yet so happy he had such a wonderful family of his own! Jeff will live on thru all of our memories and the love for him in our hearts. God bless you Jeff, may you rest in peace. All my love, Linda S. Evans and my Mother's also - Mary A. Evans. I still remember Mr. Haddad helping my Mother out buy selling us a Green Dodge Omni! He really helped us in a time of need. Taking the Greyhound bus to Bakersfield is quite a memory; also the drive back to H.B., I slept on the back floor of the Omni all the way home. I learned to drive a stick shift with that car, and also got my drivers license with it! I then sadly totaled it while on a martial art venture with my brother John Evans, and one of our Masters - lots of Haddad memories - good ones for certain! Lots of love and well wishes - Linda and Mary Evans XXXOOO

I grew up with Jeff, John and James, my best friends. I had a lot of great memories of spending the night at their house across the street and staying up late and playing with Jeff and John, James was older. Mrs. Haddad, Inger, was kind enough to make scrambled eggs with milk and cheese sometimes before school while we watched the Flintstones. Lots of great times at the beach with Jeff and John, Ronnie and I on the south side of the pier. When they moved to Bakersfield I really missed them. Had some fun summers at their new house for a couple of years. Especially on the mopeds and sand rail buggy. Jeff always had a great sense of humor. A joke comes to mind. We were at their new house sitting down to eat lunch. Their Keeshound (sp?) dog was just outside the sliding glass door looking sad and hungry as he wasn't eating too. Jeff said "I hate to see a dog suffer". I thought he was going to let him in with us. Instead Jeff closed the floor length drape and laughed! He then let him in too after a minute. Great family, Mr. Haddad, Chuck, treated the kids on the street great. A big man with a fantastic smile and laugh. I'll never forget when Jeff got hit in the eye with the bike chain on accident. Brothers playing. Gave Jeff his unique look. Jeff was tough as the youngest brother, he always hung in there in our B.B. gun wars in the old oil hill fields catching snakes and lizards, riding bmx bikes. He could always take it, and give it back. Lots of great memories, thank you Jeff, John and your family. My childhood best friends across the street. I miss you guys. Jeff was an awesome younger brother friend who always fit in with John, Ronnie and I. A fun and nice guy. Rest in peace pal and see you again one day playing in the fields. John Evans, Loyalton, CA.

My name is Sandy Belvedere and I had the privilege of meeting Jeff through my role at Nissan. I was both his District Sales Manager and his Area General Manager through some of the most intense growth years for the brand. These were also the years that Nissan of Bakersfield saw tremendous growth. But that's not what I remember and cherish most about Jeff. What I cherish was his delightful spirit. I had the unique and common element of sharing Lebanese heritage with him. We were both half Lebanese. This endeared me to him from the moment we met. His spirit matched what I know and believe in from our mutual background. He adored his family. He was so very proud of every thing he stood for. His children, his parents and what he was in place to do every day. I adored the man. I will never forget him. Jeff is what is right and good in all that that the auto industry and family represents. Rest In Peace my friend. Adoringly,Sandy ( Sayar) Belvedere

Jeff is a great guy and we will miss him dearly. We saw him at all of Josh's football games because Josh and our son played together. We saw him at the dealership as we bought our last 3 vehicles from him because he was a kind and fair man. We are so sorry to hear that he is gone and our prayers are with all of you to get through this difficult time. The Trent family
