DR. JERRY WOOLF

October 21, 1948 - April 21, 2022

Dr. Jerry Woolf DDS passed away unexpectedly.

Admired by all and a mentor to many, Jerry was a talented cosmetic dentist. His passion for all things aviation allowed his family to experience extraordinary adventures. Dentist, Pilot, Teacher and Boss - above all else, Jerry loved his daughters and family.

Jerry leaves behind his wife Karyn, daughters Claire and Grace, their mother Ginger, and grandchildren Charlotte and Patton.

What a legacy he left...I will miss him. He always complimented me on my full set of teeth, LOL. He has established an operation of wonderful professionals and staff; some of which I have known too for decades. Rest in peace my friend and thank you for your care of others,

Jerry was my counselor at Yokuts day camp in Bakersfield. Friend. fellow pilot and he always had a big smile on his face. RIP my friend

Through three generations Jerry was known in my family as a small boy he would go to my grandparents house to swim long before I was even thought of my grandparents both loved adored and respected him a school friend of my mother's and my aunt's Jerry went to highschool with them both .my mother married and Jerry went into dental school years later I was born and around 9 met Jerry for the first time he was my scoutmaster I was in scouts till I was 18 and Jerry and I remained friends the entire time now at 52 I must say good bye to a true friend a mentor and one hell of a guy Jerry was my dentist but he was also a good friend we had many great conversations and scout trips together I will miss him dearly my thoughts and prayers are with his girls and his wife please accept are most humble condolences as we say good bye to a life long friend may you rest in peace Jerry we know we will see you again on the other side B Ulrich and family :

My husband and I are devastated at the news of Jerry´s passing. He was full of life and so positively driven in all good things life had to offer. I´ve known Jerry since I was 22. Working in the medical community in Bakersfield he flew a small group of us to Catalina and we landed on that small runway so smoothly which was know to be a tricky air strip safety first he was a stellar pilot. He was talented and so educated in so many spectacular way´s . Bruce and I moved to Santa Barbara in 1994 and Jerry and Ginger ended up coming too! We had several family picnics in their backyard by the pool so many find memories throughout the year´s when our kids were small in Santa Barbara. Always a gentleman and a delightful wonderful person to be around and a fantastic loving caring father to his children and family. We will never forget how he touched our live´s and our grown children Catie, Ashlyn, Harrison are missing him too. Much love to His Beautiful Family.

Jerry was a terrific guy. We had some great times sailing and flying in our Piper Cub. He wanted me to go to dental school with him. Wish I had followed through so that I could have spent more time with him. He was in our wedding party. He threw me over his shoulder and Tom Mestmaker chained my car to the car port before the wedding. Many great stories. I will miss him.

Dear Family, staff and all friends of Jerry, Darn it! This isn't an easy good-bye! I'm sure you all feel the same! Jerry was so special, kind, intelligent, and just a "good guy"! He was a new dentist when my mother in law went to him and came back telling me all about this fabulous, handsome dentist that I should see. Well, I did and he became a good friend to me and my teeth! I retired in 2002 and I moved to the coast but no way was I going to get another dentist so I drove to Bakersfield and Santa Barbara to keep Jerry and his magic with my teeth. Well, I finally had to face that I couldn't drive for appointments with him when I moved to Las Vegas. I called his office for his suggestions for a dentist here. To my surprise he was now living in Henderson! I will always remember his big smile and strong laugh! I will also remember all the times he told me what his sweet loves, his daughters, were doing. Also, he showed me their school that you could see out his Santa Barbara office. To his daughters I say I know your sorrow is heavy but take all that positive energy you dad passed on to you and enjoy your life in memory of him!
