Jim Calanchini passed away peacefully August 9, 2025. He is survived by his wife Diane; sons Jimmy, Joe, and John; daughters-in-law Michelle, Valerie, and Tové; and grandchildren Cole, Jack, Vivienne, and Tyson.
He was born January 9, 1947 to Art and Mary Calanchini in Bakersfield, CA where he raised his family and built his businesses, Downhole Stabilization and Kodiak Machine Inc.
Service will be held on Monday, August 18, 2025 at 9:30 am St. Elizabeth Ann Seton Church, followed by burial at Historic Union Cemetery. Please visit the funeral home website for more information.

I'm so saddened to learn of Jim's passing. Jim was a kind, fun, good friend. I have fond memories going back to the 60's. Jim has left a loving legacy with his beautiful family. He won't be forgotten. Rest in peace dear friend. My most sincere condolences to his family.
