Kenneth Eric Bookout
February 22, 1965 - June 28, 2018
Kenneth Eric Bookout was born in Bakersfield on February 22, 1965 to Edwin and Margaret Bookout. He grew up in Visalia graduating from Redwood High School and College of the Sequoias. Ken married Pam Williams in March 1990 and they have 2 children, Nathaniel and Elizabeth. Ken returned to college and graduated from Cal State Bakersfield with a BS in Accounting in 2007. He managed his rental properties and he was a member of the Chicago Board of Trade in the Interest Rate Section. Ken really enjoyed the hobbies that kept him outside; paragliding, hiking, camping and riding motorcycles. He is survived by his wife and children, Pam, Nate and Ellie Bookout of Bakersfield, brother Ralph and Betty Bookout of Visalia, sister Lois Hitchcock of Oregon, nephew Mike Jerde of Cayucos, nieces Michelle, Chip, Brian, Benjamin, and Breanna Wachter of Washington, Danielle Craine and Steve Figueroa of Exeter, McKenzie and Katie Williams of San Luis Obispo, In-laws Bob and Jeannie Craine of Visalia, Bob and Shari Williams of Pismo, and Aunts, Uncles, Cousins and Friends.

I knew Ken when he was about 13-14 years old. I worked for his dad and brother at Bookout Datsun/Nissan in Visalia. He always wanted to go dirt bike riding with me. Taken way too young. R.I.P. Ken.
