Kim John Ambriz
1958 - 2018
Kim John Ambriz passed away on Sunday, July 29th. He was born on January 4th, 1958 to Mary and Albert "Curley" Ambriz. Those who knew Kim would describe him as a devoted husband, father, and grandfather who loved his family unconditionally. "Once a Marine, always a Marine" was a slogan that described Kim perfectly. Kim could build or fix anything and loved to create holiday decorations. He had a big personality that could fill any room, and he will be missed by those who knew and loved him.
The youngest of four children, Kim is preceded in death by his father and mother, Albert and Mary Ambriz. He is survived by his wife, Tammie Ambriz; siblings, Don (Jane) Ambriz, Barbara (Duke) Delagarza, and Shirley Ambriz; daughters Kimberly Ambriz, Rochelle (Tony) Ruiz, Megan (Scott) Mawson; his six grandchildren; and nieces and nephews.
The family would like to send a special thank you to everyone at the Bakersfield Heart Hospital for their care and support.
Services will be held on Wednesday, August 8th at 10 a.m. at the Bakersfield National Cemetery located at 30338 East Bear Mountain Blvd., Arvin, CA.
