Maria Saenz Obituary

Maria Conceptcion Saenz January 23, 1931 ~ April 22, 2011 Maria Conceptcion Saenz was born in Rivera, Texas, on January 23, 1931, and passed away on April 22, 2011, in Bakersfield, California. Maria worked in agriculture labor for 41 years. She enjoyed playing bingo and visiting Las Vegas. Maria is survived by her spouse of 62 years, Ramon Saenz; her daughters, Anita Quintanilla of Madera, CA, Mary Zamarripa of Merced, CA, and Lilly Vasquez of Bakersfield, CA; sons, Natividad Saenz of Arvin, CA, and Hector Saenz of Madera, CA. She also leaves behind 16 grandchildren, 21 great-grandchildren, and 10 great-great-grandchildren. She will join her parents, Maximino and Hilaria Alvarado; her daughter, Adelia Adame; and her son, Oscar Saenz. She will be greatly missed by all. Visitation will be held on Wednesday, April 27, 2011, from 4:00 to 8:00 p.m., with a Rosary starting at 7:00 p.m., at Greenlawn Memorial Chapel, 3700 River Blvd. Holy Mass will be held on Thursday, April 28, 2011, at 10:00 a.m. at Our Lady of Guadalupe Church, 601 E. California Ave., with interment to follow at Greenlawn Memorial Park. Greenlawn Mortuary www.bakersfield.com/obits
