We worked with Nick and my wife helped take care of his Dad once in a while. We are so sorry to hear of his passing. He was a good man. Sometimes he would bring me something to eat on the weekends I worked security. We loved Nick. May God Bless his family.

When I met Nicholas five years ago, I learned fast that developing a friendship with him would not be difficult. Nick never – never! – greeted me with anything less than a wide smile, handshake, and a firm pat on the shoulder. Conversing with Nick was easy as he always showed interest in me as if I was a brother.
Unfortunately I had lost touch with Nick during the past several months, but vividly recall seeing him with my late good friend, Joaquin, at El Portal where, as it turned out, Nick and I had our last drink together. Nick, I at times now regret not accepting the suggestion and offer you made for me then.
Until we meet again, fond farewell. As missed you will be, warm memories are treasured. My prayers are with you, your family and loved ones.
