Patsy Franks Obituary
October 25, 1939 January 9, 2023
Patsy Lee Franks, of Roswell, Georgia, passed away peacefully on Monday, January 9, 2023 in her home after a short fight with lung cancer. She was 84. Originally from Bakersfield, California, Patsy moved to Roswell in 1977. Patsy was born to Chet and Juanita Green of Oildale on October 25, 1939 and graduated from North High in 1957.
Following high school, she went to work at American Airlines as a flight attendant based in New York. In 1977, while working with the Continental Telephone Company, she relocated to Atlanta, GA. She ended her career working for Northern Telecom.
She is survived by her only child, Les Franks, of New York City and grandsons Davis, Andrew and William and a sister, Vickie Genova, of Bakersfield.
A memorial service will be held at 11am on Tuesday, January 17, 2023 at Roswell Funeral Home, 950 Mansell Road in Roswell, GA.

Was so sorry to hear about Pat's passing. She was a classmate of mine at North High School Class of 1957. We will remember her on our Fallen Stars Memorial Page and I will include her in the video of the 65th Class of 1957 Reunion held in Oct. 2022. She was a nice classmate and remember when she attended prior reunions in Bakersfield. Rest in Peace, Pat.

Patsy was a neighbor of ours in Oildale for 4 years. She and her family were fun and friendly! Patsy was a beautiful young woman full of life! May God Bless her in heaven!
