PAUL A. SCHROCK

1942 2023

A funeral service is scheduled for Friday, March 3, 2023 at 10:45AM at The Bakersfield National Cemetery in Arvin, California for Paul Schrock, 80 years old. A Celebration of Life to follow at the Hebbard Residence at 12:00PM.

Paul was born to Lawrence and Mary Schrock in Bakersfield, CA on May 3, 1942 and passed away on February 10, 2023 after a five-year battle with Dementia.

Paul graduated from Delano High School in 1960. Paul worked for Kern County Equipment from the time he was 18 years old. He took time out to serve his country in the Vietnam War from 1967-1969 something he was very proud of. He returned to Kern County Equipment where he advanced up the ladder to parts manager, salesman, and department head. He loved selling construction and industrial equipment and had many loyal customers that became life long friends. After the closure of Kern County Equipment, he went to Berchtold Equipment where he continued his success. He then worked a short time at SMA before opening his own business Parts and Equipment Supply Co.

Paul was an outdoorsman, he loved hunting in Colorado, fishing at Mammoth Lakes, and horseback riding in the Backcountry. His most cherished moments were spent with his family and friends camping at Pismo Beach and Bass Lake. Paul loved his weekend mornings at J&M's for coffee and lunch at The Ole West.

Paul was preceded in death buy his parents, sister Cathy, brother Ray, mother in-law Alice, and brother in-law Kurt. He is survived by his wife of 46 years, Judy. His daughters Alicia (Covey Hebbard), Audra Langston, sons Brent, Derek, Todd, Ben, and grandchildren Zach and Brody Hebbard; Steven, Damian, and Alexis Langston; and Alli and Taylor Tessen. He is also survived by his brother Don and Francene Schrock, sister in-law Kelly and Tommy Calhoun, and numerous nieces and nephews.

A special thank you to Magnolia Place (Alderbrook) for the compassionate care and love Paul was given for his last 7 months. We also would like to thank ADAKC (Daycare) and Hoffmann Hospice.
