Paula Cecil Obituary

Born Paula Ann Massa on June 17, 1947 to Alvin and Marianne Massa in Bakersfield, CA. She attended North High School and graduated in 1965. Paula also attended Bakersfield College as well. Paula married Charles Cecil on September 1, 1967 and recently celebrated their 55 year anniversary. She was a devoted wife, mother, grandma, grams and friend.
She passed away on November 20, 2022 after a lengthy stay in the hospital and is already missed beyond belief. Although she contracted MS over 20 years ago there was nothing she couldn't do with her hands. She said the legs don't work but the mind and the hands still do. She was a quilter, seamstress, green thumb gardener and game player extraordinaire. She was an amazing person and truly will be missed by all who knew and loved her.
She is survived by her husband of 55 years, Charles, her daughter Jodi Evans (Brian) of Morro Bay and their 2 sons Ty and Chance, her son Kelly of Madera and his 2 daughters Holly and Paige. Paula is also survived by her older brother Bruce Massa of Bakersfield.
Funeral Services will be held at the Bethany Lutheran Church on 900 Day Ave on Tuesday the 13th of December at 11:00 a.m. That is the NE corner of Manor St and Day Ave.

Wink....I am so sorry to hear about Paula. We went through school together but after graduation we didn´t keep in touch. Paula was one of the nicest people you could meet. Prayers to you and family it isn´t easy just one day at a time.
