PHILLIP GARRY REPP (GARRY)

January 22, 1941 – February 25, 2025

Phillip Garry Repp (Garry) passed away on February 25, 2025, at home, surrounded by the love and support of his family.

Phillip was born to Phillip and Jean Repp on January 22, 1941, in Seattle, Washington. He moved to Arroyo Grande, California, in 1957, and later relocated to Orcutt, where he graduated from Santa Maria High School in 1959.

On October 31, 1970, Phillip married Gail Hughes, with whom he shared 49 wonderful years. He was a dedicated family man and worked at Ralphs, where he made lasting friendships and memories, before retiring in 2006 in Bakersfield, California.

Phillip was predeceased by his mother, Jean Sholberg, his stepfather, Marvin Sholberg, and brother Dee Sholberg (Patty). He is survived by his beloved sister, Kris Ranallo.

He is also survived by his son, Steve Repp (Shelly), and grandchildren: Steffani Repp (2 children), Shaun Repp, and Summer Phillips (Dallas) (3 children), all residing in Bakersfield, CA. Another son, Phillip Webster (Angela), and their children: Julie Webster, Sarah Dechant, Lauren Calderon (1 child), and Stephanie Webster, of Colorado Springs, CO.

In his free time, Phillip enjoyed spending time with his family, taking care of his dogs, and cheering on his Rams. He was known for his stern heart and unwavering loyalty. His family and friends will always remember his hearty laughter, warm smile, and the love he shared with everyone around him.

Funeral celebrations will be held at Greenlawn North Cemetery in Bakersfield, CA 93305, on March 15, 2025, at 12:00pm. Phillip will be deeply missed, and his memory will live on in the hearts of those who knew and loved him.
