Robert was born November 6, 1952, in Bakersfield, CA the oldest child of Robert P. and Sofia (Arismendez) Ozuna and passed away unexpectedly while vacationing in Seattle, WA on May 17, 2021.

Robert was devoted to his family throughout his life. He graduated from East Bakersfield High School, and attended Bakersfield College. Robert had recently retired after a successful career working as a Draftsman and mechanical engineer both the civil and petroleum industry.

Robert owned The Britannia Restaurant and Pub with his wife, Glenda. He was an accomplished photographer, and had a passion for adventures. He was never lost; he was simply on a new adventure. He always had a map, camera and transportation schedule in his red backpack.

Robert leaves behind his beloved Muttamus, Lucy, A.K.A his long (4) legged, blue eyed blond. They spent countless hours together. Robert knew everybody in the neighborhood, by name including, their 4 legged pals.

Robert was a lifelong fan of the Dallas Cowboys and Los Angeles Dodgers. He loved all sports, listening to the blues, building various projects, learning new things, reading books of all genres. He relished visiting his daughters family in Chicago where they had many memorable adventures. He also had a passion for maps, trains, public transportation, museums, and architecture. He enjoyed camping, hiking in Yosemite, designing and drawing building plans for various types of structures for family and friends.

Robert and Glenda shared hobbies together which included travel and adventure, puzzles, barbequing, and enjoying a beer on a beautiful night on their patio.

Robert is survived by his wife, Glenda; father, Robert P. Ozuna; daughter, Brandy Ann (Ozuna) Lozoya (Justo); grandchildren, Alex, Christian, Scott; stepdaughter, Ali Cochran-Scott (Shannon); grandchildren Megan and Jacob; 3 great-grandchildren. One of Robert's favorite movie quotes was they died with their boots on. Well family and friends, that's just what he was doing when his adventure ended in Washington State. And yes, he had his maps and his camera.

His legacy will live on in the hearts and minds of everyone he interacted with. A Celebration of Life will be held at 3pm on Saturday, June 19th, at the Fraternal Order of Eagles, 1718 17th Street, Bakersfield, CA 93301.
