Victor Loyd Link
September 7, 1962 - October 1, 2017
Victor Loyd Link, 55, of Aliso Viejo, CA, was among the 58 innocent lives lost at the Route 91 Harvest Music Festival on October 1, 2017.
Victor was born September 7, 1962 in Wasco, CA, to Loyd Link and Janie Armstrong Link. He achieved a B.S. in Business at University of La Verne and worked in the mortgage industry in Orange County, CA. Victor is survived by his fiance Lynne Gonzales, son Christian Link, father Loyd Link and siblings Craig Link, Vincent Link and Lisa Heistand.
His family and friends remember him as a loving husband, proud father, soon-to-be grandfather, loyal son, protective brother, supportive uncle and kind friend. While we mourn the loss of an extraordinary man, we also celebrate the wonderful life he led. We hope that the countless people he has touched over the years will remember the kindness, wisdom, humor and inspiration he passed along to each of us. He had an infectious positive attitude that always lifted the spirits of everyone around him.
Services will be held October 20 at 10:30 a.m. at Valley Baptist Church (4800 Fruitvale Ave., Bakersfield, CA). There will also be a private "Friends and Family Celebration of Victor's Life" held October 21 from 1-5 p.m. at Samueli Theater located inside the Segerstrom Center for the Arts in Costa Mesa, CA.

Hey Victor,
I am shocked at the tragic events that occurred in West TX, which led to seven lives lost. Obviously it was a reminder of what happened to you in Las Vegas.

I am so sorry to hear of this tragic loss. I moved away from California over 30 years ago and my mother only just told me about this today. I knew Victor from Shafter High School. He was 2 years ahead of me. He was such a nice, kind and handsome young man. I can't imagine the grief his family and friends must be going through. Victor was one of the few people I remember from Shafter because of his wonderful personality and extraordinary kindness. Please know that you will all be in my prayers. I'm more sorry than I can say. With my deepest sympathy,Angie Hogan used to be Angie White

One of the most Genuine people that I have had the pleasure of meeting! I assisted him when he purchased his 2017 VW Golf "R". There is a Great Homecoming going on in Heaven right now!
