Dr. Alison Riddle-Fletcher

On July 1, 2014, DR. ALISON P. RIDDLE-FLETCHER, DDS ,third of three children of the late Arthur Riddle, D.D.S and the late Eileen Riddle of Houston, TX. Educated in the Houston school system and graduated from Lamar High School. She attended North Texas State University graduating with a Bachelor of Arts degree in 1982. In 1987, she graduated from Howard University College of Dentistry with a Doctor of Dental Surgery Degree becoming a third generation dentist. Together with her husband Dr. Nathan Fletcher they became the first husband and wife Presidents of all national dental organizations. Together they co-owned Fletcher and Fletcher Family Dentistry for 18 yrs. Dr. Fletcher was the 90th President of the National Dental Association and the sixth female to hold that position. Dr. Riddle-Fletcher was affiliated with several other organizations serving in numerous leadership positions including Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Inc. in where she was a Life Member and Silver Star. She is survived by her husband of 18 years Dr. Nathan Fletcher, Sister Kimberly Riddle, Father-In-Law Donald G. Fletcher, Brother-In-Law Bruce Fletcher, and Sister-In-Law Debra Fletcher-Johnson and a host of Sorors, Link Sisters, Kappa Silhouettes, patients, and friends. Family will receive Friends on Saturday August 2, 2014 at New Psalmist Baptist Church, 6020 Marion Drive beginning at 10am visitation. A memorial service will begin at 11am.
