Barbara Molicki Obituary

Barbara Ann (Floyd) Molicki, 91, of Murrysville, Pennsylvania, passed away peacefully on July 20, 2025, at Redstone Highlands in Murrysville. She was born November 7, 1933, in Rockmart, Georgia, daughter of the late Robert Carl and Grace (Dennison) Floyd. In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her loving husband, Gleb Molicki, her brother, Robert Carl Floyd Jr., and her niece, Deborah Floyd.

Barbara graduated from Emory University with a bachelor's and later a master's degree in nursing. She worked for many years in diverse settings from hospitals to J&L Steel Mill in Pittsburgh. Later in her nursing career, she served as director of nursing at Shepherd Pratt Hospital as well as a nursing instructor. She then left nursing to become the HR manager for the family company where she sought to guide many young employees into successful careers. She was an accomplished cook and baker who loved to share good food and drink with her family. She absolutely adored dogs and leaves behind a rescue dog she turned into a princess named Addy. Remarkably well traveled, she passed on her passions and worldly wisdom to her son and grandsons.

Barbara is survived by her son, Eric Robert Molicki, and her two grandsons, Nathan Robert (Maddie) Molicki and Nicholas Alexander Molicki. Funeral services for Barbara will be private with her family. If desired, memorial contributions may be made to the Reformed University Fellowship for Nick Molicki - givetoruf.org/donate/nick.molicki.
