Benjamin Arrington Obituary

On Tuesday, October 22, 2024, Benjamin F. Arrington, Jr. of Baltimore, MD passed away peacefully at 77 years of age. He is survived by his wife of 53 years Flora "Chris", their daughter Victoria and her husband Harry Bigham, Jr., his son Michael Arrington and his wife Robin, grandchildren Valerie, Benjamin, Katherine, Brandy, and John, and by several great-grandchildren. He was a Vietnam War Veteran of the US Army awarded two Purple Heart Medals, a Bronze Star Medal, a Good Conduct Medal, and a Vietnam Service Medal upon his honorable discharge. He enjoyed the outdoors, cooking, planting his garden with plants, flowers, vegetables and herbs, spending time with his family, building and making things with his hands, and always found a fix for any problem. He will be deeply missed and remembered for being a wonderful, devoted husband, father, and grandfather who would sacrifice anything for his family. As per Benjamin's request, no viewing services will be held. Family and friends are welcome to join us for a grave side funeral service at Baltimore National Cemetery located at 5501 Frederick Avenue, Baltimore, MD 21228 on Friday, November 8, 2024, at 2 p.m.. In lieu of flowers, please send donations to Pathfinders for Autism online at pathfindersforautism.org/donate or call 443-330-5370; or to the Wounded Warrior Project online at support.woundedwarriorproject.org or by phone 855-448-3997.
