Just seeing this and so sorry about his passing. I had the pleasure of planning some of his family´s travels and he was so nice to work with. He is surely missed.

My mother worked for C.P and then Buzz McCormick and retired from that company. Buss was always approachable, attended retiree parties and annual stockholders meeting. The employees working there felt it was not just a workplace, but treated as a family. It was a wonderful company to work for, the old "treasure chest" which I still have, ability for them to buy stock, which accumulated over the years and gave my mother extra income in her retirement and the many functions that MCCormicks sponsored, including "C" day. I remember cabs lining up on the tracks in front of 414 Light street to pick up employees who didn´t drive when they worked the night shift, and the nurses who visited while employees were sick. CP and Buzz left quite a legacy and he was loved by anyone I came in contact with who worked there. I had several family members who worked at MCCormicks it was a wonderful company to work for.

Buzz and his wife were wonderful people. In the late 80's they bought or leased a home from me in Marina del Rey. RIP.

I did not have the pleasure of meeting you, but I once met one of your daughters or perhaps your sister in Jan of 1973 on Mona Island. I was there on a college project when she and her boyfriend landed their small airplane on the island's grass runway. All I remember was a very nice young lady who did not seem too hung up about her status and who addressed me as an equal. They ended up taking one of my fellow travelers who could not hack the austere conditions back to Puerto Rico. As tempting as it was, I stayed to complete my 20-day stay. You can rest assured that your family was well represented that day.

My mother was a retiree , I would take her to the Christmas parties and "Buzz" whom even employees called him, would come up from Florida just to attend. it was like a family gathering and they all truly loved Mr. McCormick. A great testimony to the head of a company that large...he also came to the stockholders meeting, and it was like a family reunion. Condolences to the family and McCormick Co. family, he will certainly be missed by all who were fortunate enough to know him.

We miss you so, Buzz. You will always live on with us forever. May the grove of trees, planted in your honor, remain as strong and as great, as the memories of your legacy. Rest in Peace. From your loving family
