Chrysanthe Alevizatos Pappas

On October 26, 2024, Chrysanthe Alevizatos Pappas passed away at the age of 100. Mrs. Pappas was the loving daughter of Chrissie and Christ Alevizatos; beloved wife of Alexander H. Pappas; devoted mother of Calla P. and Richard Merkle, Christina P. and William Stone, Philip A. and Karen Pappas and James N. and Nancy Pappas; dear sister of Aristides ("Ted") Alevizatos and the late Evan Chriss and Betty Jean Alevizatos, sister-in-law of Dorothy ("Dee") Alevizatos and the late Ceres Chriss, also survived by 15 grandchildren and 2 great-grandchildren. A Trisagion Service will be held at the family owned Ruck-Towson Funeral Home, 1050 York Road (Beltway Exit 26A) on Wednesday, October 30, 2024 at 6 PM, with visitation from 4 - 8 PM. A Funeral Service will be held in the Chapel of the Resurrection at the Greek Orthodox Cemetery, 5917 Windsor Mill Road, Baltimore, Maryland 21207, on Thursday, October 31, 2024, where Mrs. Pappas will lie in state 9:30 AM to 10 AM, the service will begin at 10 AM. Interment Woodlawn Cemetery.
