I meet Dale 2 weeks before he retired from BGE. My life will never be the same. He gave me joy in those 2 weeks the Lord brought him into my life. I still have the picture he did for me of my favorite verse.(He said it was his also) Paslm 91. I still have the sticker he send me after he left BGE pasted onto my computer "JESUS IS LORD". Each time I come to my computer it reminds me of him and our conversations we had of our Lord and Savior. My prayers are with you. Dale talk much about his wife and family and the love he had for you all. To God be the glory and bring you HIS peace which surpasses all understanding. Dale your sister in Christ.

Your family has our deepest sympathy. It is not easy to see a loved one suffer and is even harder to have them taken from us.

My deepest heart felt sympathies go out to Brother Dale's family. May the Lord comfort us for our lose. Brother Dale is a good friend and a mentor to me. He always encourages me and uses his Christian experience and wisdom to console me in spiritual principles. He is always looking out for my spiritual growth. He calls me frequently to witness to me about something the Lord showed him in the Bible or some experience he had; always glorifying God in the process. He is always a great encouragement to me. Even as I visited him in his final days on earth, the last words I heard him speak were "Philippians 1:6". I read that verse, "Being confident of this very thing, that he which hath begun a good work in you will perform it until the day of Jesus Christ:" and I realized the Lord was using him once again to show me that he is faithful. I studied the rest of the chapter and thought, if anyone wanted to know the Dale that I know, Philippians chapter 1 says it all. As Paul and Timotheus are to the Philippians so Dale is to me. I thank God for the work he did in my brother Dale and I look forward to seeing him again. I love you Brother Dale.

"For me to live is Christ, and to die is gain." Philippians 1:21

My condolences to the family of Dale McGowan, I am sorry to hear of his passing. Dale, better known as “Poopsie” at work was a fun guy to be around. He would keep you laughing by cracking a joke or lend an ear when in need and always willing to lend a hand to help others.

Dad, I know you told us that you wanted to live long enough to see the new chapel built at your church. I think you're going to have a better view than all of us. Life won't be the same without you. I love you, and I know that I'll see you again some day.

Dale and I worked side by side at BGE.We worked but, we also had some fun. I was forced to retire in 1994. Dail called it the "BIG PURGE" he was right. Dale's was the last hand that I shook when I was escourted out of the building. He had tears in his eyes, I hugged him and thanked him for his friendship. We would run into each other at Best Buys or the mall. We would take time to update what was going on in our lives. WE would part and at the same time say God Bless. I have grate sorrow for your loss. God must need another angel. I hope God gives hem a new lunch box.

But he himself went a day's journey into the wilderness, and came and sat down under a broom tree. And he prayed that he might die and said "It is enough! Now, Lord, take my life, for I am no better then my father!" (1 King 19:4). Uncle Dale you will be very well missed I know the lord has taken you and you are at peace now. I will see you again!!! Love You Very Much Jenny
