Relatives and friends are invited to visit at Schimunek Funeral Home Inc., 9705 Belair Rd. Nottingham, MD 21236 on Thursday, August 29, 2024 from 2-4 and 6-8 PM. A Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Friday, August 30, 2024 at 10:00 AM at St. Ursula Catholic Church. Interment private.

Dear Anne and Family, we are very sorry about the passing of Dave.He was a great friend and fellow graduate of the University of Maryland School of Pharmacy 1971.There were too many memories of our jovial times together during the school years-it was always a treat to be with Dave and Anne who were genuine, warm folks to be around.We wish you peace to the family during this difficult time. Desired to acknowledge, that
I befriended David as we were both
fellow recent Pharmacist grads, just starting to practice our profession,
several decades ago.
Even though we studied at different
Schools of Pharmacy and chose
variant pathways servicing patients,
we shared a lot of "common ground".
Faith, Family and Pharmacy were
highly valued by David. His parents
raised him so well, as evidenced
by the "high road" David always
chose in his decision making, both
personal and professional.
David was quite clinically sound and his love for his family was unsurpassed.
I am most proud to have crossed paths with David Knauer, in my life.
His unique perspectives added to
the quality of health care, and being
a son, husband, father and colleague.
Well done, David.
