Dancing at my wedding. I wish I could remember what we danced to. I am pretty sure I had a special song picked just for you.

I have so much to share and say. I'll probably write several messages in this guestbook. First, I will love and miss you always. You, mom, and I always had such a great time togetherlots of laughing at inappropriate stuff. We even spent this past Monday and Tuesday laughing so hard, even when you weren't feeling well. You apparently stayed spunky and feisty to the end, according to your home care nurse. She told us about all of the jokes you were making two days before you died. She really enjoyed being with you, it seems. :) Second, I know you'd be mad that I spent money on an obituary for you. I had to honor you in that way. I couldn't let you go, forgotten. Like we had discussed, I was going to start sending you gift cards for groceries (I bought you some on Thursday!), so the money was going to be spent anyway. So, you'll have to deal. See, I'm stubborn, too. Last, for now, I wish we had more time together. I thought you'd be moving in with mom and Marty, and that Lilly, Joe, and I would be able to see you more. I'm sorry my visits slowed down when I became a mom. But I'm glad I got so many visits in before then. I love you, Pop Pop. Love, Turkey
