I spent a year in a boys' home and Dave, still in college, was my dorm counselor. He helped pull me through one of my worst childhood years. Nearly 60 years later, Dave was, and is, one of my heroes.

I (we)_ have been trying to find Dave for many years. We all graduated from highschool together and Dave and I shared a special kind of friendship. After graduation from highschool and college, I lost track of him. Every time a class reunion came around, it was always Dave that we missed. My heart hurts from having to find him in this manner. My love to his family and friends. He was a very special person and will always be a big part of our lives...especially mine.

I was fortunate enough to know Dave in Baltimore, where he was the perfect host. And was more fortunate to continue that friendship on his many visits to Florida. We had lots of private chat times to and from the airport and late night at MU. He knows and shows the meaning of being a true friend and I will dearly miss him.

I began working with Dave in 1974 in the Baltimore Group Office of Monumental Life in Lutherville. It was my first job, just out of highschool. I have only fond memories of him. He was a wonderful boss and great friend. He will be sorely missed.

Please accept my sincere sympathies for a good man, a good friend. I have known Dave for several years based on an introduction from the "Stallions" golf group in Florida. I always looked forward to his positive outlook, bright humor, and genuine appreciation of life.
He will be sorely missed.
