Eunice Kaplan Obituary

Eunice Norma Kaplan (nee Gold), of Potomac, Maryland, passed away on Friday, August 1st, 2025, at the age of 92. She is survived by her devoted daughters, Frances Gail (Joseph) Bormel, Ellen R. Kempler (Michael Diamond); her adoring grandchildren, CJ Kempler, Carly (Brian) Pflaum, Katy Bormel, and Alex Bormel; her caring sister-in-law Blanche Gold; and many loving nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her beloved husband, Milton Kaplan; loving siblings, Leon Gold, and Denise M. (Laurence) Collins; and her beloved parents, Helen and Charles Gold.

Eunice Kaplan will be deeply missed by all who had the privilege of knowing her. Throughout her life, she touched and enriched the lives of those around her with warmth, generosity, and unwavering support. Whether offering her time to family or friends, she was always there as a loving, steady presence, a compassionate listener and advisor, and a true friend just when you needed one most. She was the heart of her family. May her memory always be a blessing.

Services at Garrison Forest Cemetery of Chizuk Amuno Congregation, 11401 Garrison Forest Road, Owings Mills, MD 21117, on Monday, August 4th, 2025, at 11:00 am. Please omit flowers. Contributions in her memory may be sent to ASPCA, online at ASCPA.org, or to the Maryland Food Bank, online at mdfoodbank.org, or to the charity of your choice.
