George Schatz Obituary



George Anthony Schatz, Jr. (Tony) 75, a 50 year resident of Baltimore and formerly of Ellicott City died on August 11 2017 at his residence. He was born in Baltimore, MD to George Anthony Schatz, Sr. and Margaret (Peggy) Schatz in January 1942. After graduating from Howard High School in 1959 where he lettered in three sports, Mr. Schatz attended Catonsville Community College and later transferred to Towson University where he earned his degree in Business Management. Tony was retired from the Baltimore County Board of Education where he worked for 30 years. His favorite activities included visiting Ocean City Maryland and attending antique car shows and local concerts. He was preceded in death by his father, George A. Schatz, Sr. Mr. Schatz is survived by his mother Margaret (Peggy) Schatz and brother Thomas C. Schatz both of Annapolis, MD.
