I had the good fortune of working with Howie in the early 70's while we were both assigned to the Intelligence Division at FBI Headquarters. He was a great guy - funny, interesting and knowledgeable. We shared many laughs. He will be missed and will remain in my prayers.

Our entire family loved Howie for his humor and his generosity for many years. We will never forget his quick wit, his good-hearted teasing, his Maxwell Smart impersonation, and his silver dollar pancakes. Our lives are richer and happier for having known him. Our condolences go out to his family, especially his sons.
