James Forsyth Obituary

FORSYTH, James Clark JAMES CLARK FORSYTH age 82, of Baytree Lane, formerly of Sykesville, MD, died Saturday, December 24, 2005, at Waccamaw Community Hospital. Born January 3, 1923 in Baltimore, MD, a son of the late James Clark and Mary Osborne Forsyth. Mr. Forsyth was preceded in death by his first wife: Ruth Ann Forsyth. He received a Civil Engineering Degree, was a member of the Episcopal Church of the Resurrection. He was a graduate of the University of Maryland graduating first in his class, member of the Tau Beta Pi and Phi Kappa Phi. And honorary fraternities Alpha Tau Omega and Social Fraternity Elks. Surviving are his wife: Grace Forsyth; one son: James Clark Forsyth III of Oregon; two daughters: Teri Martin of FL and Lee Ann Keith of MO; four grandchildren: James Martin, Jyl Martin, Kathryn Sellenriek and Lindsey Sellenriek Holton. Memorial Services will be held 3 P.M. Wednesday, December 28, 2005 at The Episcopal Church of the Resurrection. Memorials may be made to The Episcopal Church of The Resurrection Building Fund, 8901 Hwy 17 Bypass, Murrells Inlet, SC 29578 or to the American Lung Society, 1817 Gadsen Street, Columbia, SC 29201. Goldfinch Funeral Home, Beach Chapel is in charge of arrangements.

Grace, you may not remember me but I worked at Anchor Bank for a number of years. I always enjoyed Jim coming in. He was such a fine man. My thoughts and prayers and with you and the family at this time. God Bless You
