Friends may call at the family owned Mitchell-Wiedefeld Funeral Home Inc., 6500 York Road (at Overbrook) on Monday and Tuesday 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 P.M. A funeral Mass will be offered Wednesday 10 A.M. at the Loyola College Alumni Memorial Chapel. Interment Private. Please omit flowers, contributions in his memory may be made to Loyola College, 4501 N. Charles St., Baltimore, MD 21210-2699.

Jimmy and I went to Calvert Hall together. He was always a joy to be with, very sincere, and had a great sense of humor. One always felt at ease around Jim. This comes as a shock to me and a number of our classmates. Your family will be in our thoughts and prayers.

i am so very sorry for your loss. jim was a real person. i'm so glad i had the pleasure of not only working with him but also knowing him on a personal level. he had a very special gift - and i know in my heart he left a seed with everyone he came in contact with. he will be greatly missed. i was once told that what you are is god's gift to you, what you become is your gift to god - god certainly will be happy to have jim in his home.

I knew Jim through Shock Trauma and MGMA, the OPA board, and BONES. Jim was always a great guy to work with on the OPA board. I will miss Jim at the annual Shock Trauma administrators dinner.

My sincerest condolences to Jimmy's Family. He was one of the nicest and most caring human beings that I have ever had the pleasure to have known. While I didn't have alot of time with Jimmy while we were at Loyola, every time I was with him reminded me of his sincerity and love for others. He will be greatly missed.

I am so sorry to hear of your loss. Jim and I grew up as friends together at St Ursula's and have kept in touch through swimming as adults. I rememeber what a wonderful Dad and husband he was as we spent many hours cheering at the sides of every pool in the tri state area.
