Joel Michael Ziegler, 70, of Jonesville, SC, died Sunday, August 24 2014 at Mary Black Memorial Hospital in Spartanburg SC.Born June 6, 1944, in Baltimore MD, he was the son of the late Catherine and Joseph Ziegler. Surviving is his wife Margie Mathis Ziegler; daughter Leslie S Foster-Hopkins; son Michael Ziegler; grandsons Dayne and Benjamin Ziegler; granddaughter Morgan Foster; and brothers Joseph Ziegler Jr, Francis Jeremiah Ziegler, and sisters Frances Beverly Roberts and Sharon M Hurt. A funeral service will be held 10:30 AM, Thursday, August 28, 2014 at the Kenworthy Funeral Home,Inc., 269 Frederick Street, Hanover, PA. Viewings will be from 6-8 PM, Wednesday August 27, 2014 as well as from 9:30 - 10:30 AM, Thursday at the funeral home. The family requests memorials be made to the Spartanburg Humane Society, 150 Dexter Rd, Spartanburg SC 29303 or online at www.Spartanburghumane.org in lieu of flowers.
