STEINKRAUS , John Gilbert "Gil" On February 7, 2012, John Gilbert Steinkraus, "Gil" , of Arnold, beloved husband of the late Catherine May Steinkraus (nee Over), He is survived by his daughters, Linda K. Steinkraus Evans and Julie A. Smith (Terry); his five grandchildren, William W. Evans, III, Jeffrey F. Evans (Crystal), Steven J. Evans (Rebecca), Samantha L. Offenberg, and Lucas S. Smith; six great-grandchildren, Megan, Emily, Katelyn, Kayla, Victoria, and Tryden. He was the brother of the late Elmer W. Steinkraus (Jeanne).
Family may visit on Thursday, February 9, 2012, from 2-4 and 6-8 at the Barranco & Sons, P.A. Severna Park Funeral Home and at Asbury United Methodist Church on Friday, from 10:15-10:45 AM. A Funeral Service will follow at 11 AM, with the interment in the church cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Asbury United Methodist Church, 78 Church Road Arnold, MD 21012. Online condolences may be made at
