Joyce Ward Obituary

WARD , Joyce McCartney On August 4, 2011, Joyce McCartney Ward , a lifetime resident of Baltimore City, died at home of cancer. She is survived by her husband, Judge Tom Ward, married 53 years and his love of a lifetime; beloved mother of Kathleen Dragovich, her husband William, Patrick Ward, his wife, Lisa, Tracy Ward, and Megan Carlson and her husband, William; Also survived by 4 grandchildren, Casey, Eric, D'Arcy and Thomas, and a surviving sister, Jean Reehling.
A Memorial Service will be held in honor of Joyce's life at Corpus Christi Catholic Church, 110 W. Lafayette Avenue, Baltimore, MD 21217 on Saturday, August 13, 2011 at 12 noon. In lieu of flowers, please make donations to the Irish Railroad Workers Museum, a 501(c) organization, 1325 Bolton Street, Baltimore, MD 21217.

I have such fond memories of Joyce Ward. I cannot imagine anyone that ever had the pleasure and privilege of knowing Joyce that would feel anything but proud and happy to have had the experience. She was truly a delight.

My parents were so fond of her,the Judge, and the children.
