Lillian Jackson Obituary

Lillian Vernice Jackson (nee Carter) was born December 4, 1925 in Baltimore, Maryland. She passed suddenly on Friday, January 22, 2021 at the age of 95. She was predeceased by her son, Brian Ellsworth Wilson.

A product of the Baltimore City Public Schools, she graduated from Frederick Douglass High School. She received a Bachelor of Science degree from Coppin Teachers College in 1946 and a Master of Arts degree from New York University in 1956.

Lillian taught in the Baltimore City Public Schools for over thirty years. She was a dedicated teacher, assistant principal and principal.

Lillian joined Douglas Memorial Community Church in 1956. She was also a member of the Epsilon Omega chapter of Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Inc. and several other organizations.

She has donated her body to medical science. At a future date, you are invited to join her family for a memorial service to celebrate her life. Contact Janice Smith at 410 365 9101.
