Mom,
One year has passed since you left us. I don't know where the time has gone, I only know that I miss you so very much and I wish you were here so I could tell you how much you meant to me. You gave me love & strength, and I will forever hold that in my heart.
Please keep watching over all of us.

Hi Mom,
Merry Christmas! This year just is not the same without hearing your voice and talking about all the wonderful gifts that you received. We know how you looked forward to getting out and having special times with each one of us. We always wanted to hear about the new trip that Karen and Josie would be taking you on in the summer. We are having a tough time this morning, but we know that you are at rest now. We will still go and look at lights and hopefully you will be right in that back seat laughing with us. We miss and love you so much. You are always in our hearts. Love You!

Happy Birthday Mom!
It's your special day that you loved and looked forward to every year. This year, I know in my heart you are looking down on all of us, but you are up in heaven with everyone having one big party.
We are all getting together tonight for a celebration for you as well, but we all are wishing you were here with us.
It has been so hard these past 6 months to not be able to pick up the phone or visit with you. You are missed by each of us in our own special way. Please keep smiling down on us and keeping us all safe.
I miss and love you so very much.

I went to the grocery store today, and thought of you. I was cooking dinner and was reminded of all the great recipes I have learned from you. I put AJ to bed and once again reminded of you as I tuck him in with the blanket that you so lovingly made for him. I'm so thankful of all of those memories and reminders that you were a part of my life. How blessed that we had so many years and so much time to spend together. So blessed that my kids got to know you, play and laugh with you. Thank you for all your words of advice. You had a way of telling me exactly what I needed to hear (of course I always didn't think so at that moment). I miss you Mom-mom!

Dear Debbie and Jim,
As soon as I woke up this morning, I remembered that it was Mother's Day and I began my prayers for you both. "Firsts" are always hard when someone we love has gone home but this Mother's Day is especially difficult because you just lost your mother. I can't imagine what today will be like for you both but I'm sure that your Mom is watching over you and is sending her love to comfort you both. Because of God's promise to us, we will be together again and, until then, take comfort in your memories of how wonderful and caring your mom was to you. May you always remember the love and laughter that your your mom brought to your life and may it give you comfort. Take care of yourself and each other and know that you are in my thoughts and prayers today and every day. God Bless!
Love,
Jane

I knew Ms. Marilyn for many years she was a sweet kind person. But more than that she was a beloved friend to my mother and all the other friends she had at parkside at fullerton. she always had a smile on her face when I came with my children. My mom loved her very much and we will all miss her with all our hearts. Thank you Marilyn for being the wonderful person you were. God had just received an awsome blessed gift, we'll see you there!

To My Mom-Mom,
I don't know many people who could put up the fight that you did the past 3 months and stay in such good spirits. I cherish the fact that my family was able to have one last visit with you 4 days before you passed. Your wit has always amazed me and I enjoyed seeing your normal sense of humor that day.
I was lucky enough to always have you around in my life and make so many great memories over the last 27 years. Kelly and I will always have memories of you watching us when we were little at the Beverly house. We remembered the other day always trying to legitimately scare you with fake snakes. I will always remember the puzzles and various games (cutties!!) you would bring over. It always makes me laugh to think that you would fall asleep before us and when my parents came home, you would be sleeping on the couch and not realize the two of us were still awake! I'll also never forget all the Orioles cartoons, you would cut out of the paper for me during baseball season. Kelly and I were happy have you around so much during our childhood and on.
I remember in high school taking my friends over to your apartment to hang out before the times we went to the movie theater across the street. I know they thought it was so cool to talk to the older lady who watched the same TV shows as us! You made us laugh when you would complain about the characters on Dawson's Creek! Those stop-ins seemed small at the time, but looking back now mean so much to me to have those memories.
I knew everytime I stopped by in high school or college you would hand me a bag of all kinds of cutouts from the newspaper, everytime I had a photo or my name mentioned for basketball or track. Thank you for following it and always being at the games whenever you could get there!
As I've grown older I have loved the relationship we have developed together. It was always fun to joke around with you in a similar way that my Dad has with you. You were always sharp and quick to call me out when joking around. I think that is one of the main aspects I will miss the most. The laughs have meant so much and we have had so many of them together.
I have to say that the one thing I regret is that you won't be able to go to my wedding one day and have a chance to see more future additions of your great grandchildren. I promise I will pass on to them the many memories that we shared as a family, and just what a special woman "Mom-Mom Knapp" was to me. I am happy to say though, that you were able to be with Kelly on her special day and share a dance with the two of us there. Nobody dances with an oxygen tank better than you Mom-Mom!! ;)
I will miss you dearly but I'm comforted by the fact that you have the chance to be with Pop now and be at peace with no pain. You will be in my thoughts and prayers daily. I told Meaghan, that for the first time I feel like I have someone personal to pray to and look over us. Your legacy will always live on and we will all make sure we keep the family together like you wanted. I am honored to be your grandson and will always take pride in being a Knapp.
I love you always and forever Mom-Mom,
Tim

To the Knapp Family:
It has been such a joy to know your Mom. I have learned so much from her knowledge and I admired her zest for life. She always made ME feel like part of her family. We laughed, cried, drank, gossiped and shopped together just like I would with my own Mom. She will always have a special place in my heart and she will be greatly missed.

To my dearest family, some things I'd like to say...
but first of all, to let you know, that I arrived okay.
I'm writing this from heaven. Here I dwell with God above.
Here, there's no more tears of sadness; here is just eternal love.
Please do not be unhappy just because I'm out of sight.
Remember that I'm with you every morning, noon and night.
That day I had to leave you when my life on earth was through,
God picked me up and hugged me and He said, "I welcome you."
It's good to have you back again; you were missed while you were gone.
As for your dearest family, they'll be here later on.
I need you here badly; you're part of my plan.
There's so much that we have to do, to help our mortal man."
God gave me a list of things, that he wished for me to do.
And foremost on the list, was to watch and care for you.
And when you lie in bed at night, the day's chores put to flight.
God and I are closest to you....in the middle of the night.
When you think of my life on earth, and all those loving years
because you are only human, they are bound to bring you tears.
But do not be afraid to cry; it does relieve the pain.
Remember there would be no flowers, unless there was some rain.
I wish that I could tell you all that God has planned.
But if I were to tell you, you wouldn't understand.
But one thing is for certain, though my life on earth is o'er.
I'm closer to you now, than I ever was before.
There are many rocky roads ahead of you and many hills to climb;
but together we can do it by taking one day at a time.
It was always my philosophy and I'd like it for you too...
that as you give unto the world, the world will give to you.
If you can help somebody who's in sorrow and pain,
then you can say to God at night......"My day was not in vain."
And now I am contented....that my life has been worthwhile,
knowing as I passed along the way, I made somebody smile.
So if you meet somebody who is sad and feeling low,
just lend a hand to pick him up, as on your way you go.
When you're walking down the street, and you've got me on your mind;
I'm walking in your footsteps only half a step behind.
And when it's time for you to go.... from that body to be free,
remember you're not going.....you're coming here to me.

Dear Debbie and Jim,
When I heard your mother's name announced in church, my heart was filled with sadness for your loss. I know the last few months have been difficult for her healthwise but I think it is still hard to believe that she is gone.
Words can't truly express the depth of my sorrow for you but please know that you are both in my thoughts and prayers.
As our faith tells us, we will be together again someday. Until then, hold onto your memories and the love that your mother brought to all your lives.
If you need anything, don't hesitate to call. May God's blessings be with your family.
Love,
Jane
